Rainouts & Wet Weather Policy

All decisions for play on all three courses South, North and Par 3 if and when affected by rain or extreme conditions will be made on a case by case basis by the ACC Golf management team. This includes and is not limited to general play, carts usage on course and any other organised activities that might be scheduled on the golf course areas. Suspension of Play will be signalled by the sounding of an air horn or similar alert. You should seek shelter immediately upon hearing the alert.

Dress Code

The North Adelaide Golf Course requires players to dress in a neat and tidy manner. Casual clothing is acceptable and a collared shirt is NOT essential. Closed toe shoes are required to be worn by all players and all our golf courses are soft spike preferred venues. Should you not have your own golf shoes, then flat soled sneakers are the next best option to ensure comfort and minimal course damage throughout your round. Singlet tops for men are not accepted on the South Course.

Child Safe Environment

Concerning issues raised in various organisations has very publicly revealed the need for organisations to be vigilant about creating a safe environment and minimising the risk of harm to children and young people in their care. At City of Adelaide we do this by ensuring the employees we recruit and the services and programs we provide support a safe environment for children.

Legislation also requires us to protect those adults that are vulnerable in our society, i.e. a person who is or may be in need of community care services by reason of mental or other disability, age frailty or illness; and who is or may be unable to protect him or herself against harm or exploitation.

City of Adelaide has developed Guidelines for Employees and Volunteers Working with Children and Young People (PDF) which you can find on this webpage and also on display within the centre and other public areas where children and parent/caregivers are present.

BYO License Regulations

The North Adelaide Golf Course is pleased to offer all players a fully licensed facility that encompasses the entire boundaries of the North and South Courses as well as the Pro Shop and 19th Hole Function Centre. A drinks cart is provided as a customer service every weekend and also on public holidays and peak holiday periods.

Due to our licensing agreement, BYO alcohol is not acceptable within the boundaries of the facility at any time. Any player found to be in possession of BYO alcohol will be asked to surrender it and are able to collect it from the Pro Shop on completion of their round. Failure to comply with this regulation and the requests of golf course staff will result in players/groups being requested to leave the facility without refund.

The 19th Hole Function Centre offers a wide range of local and imported beers as well a comprehensive selection of mostly local, South Australian wines at very competitive prices.
