Chipping Green
Hone your short game on our free chipping green
Two out of every three shots you take during a game of golf are from 100 metres in.
So if you want to shoot lower scores, and play the golf you’ve always dreamed of, then why wouldn’t you practice the shots that are going to be the majority you hit of the course?
Practicing the swings you need for every shot between 10–100 metres is the single biggest thing you can do to shave strokes off your handicap and drastically improve your score.
Phenomenal chipping will save you strokes around the green, give you more tap-in pars, and let you play the “stress-free golf” you always hear the pros talk about but never get to experience.
Imagine what it’s like walking up to your ball KNOWING that you’re going to get up-and-down. No more stubbing or sculling, just crisp contact and better chip shots.
Don't waste your time on backyard chipping
While chipping on your lawn is better than nothing, when you can chip from a decent lie with good feedback when the ball lands, your chipping practice becomes way more effective.
It's also much better on the practice green than holding up groups of passionate golfers as you play shot after shot from the bunker edge.
And although it isn’t the most exciting thing (like long drives or amazing recovery shots) when you start chipping better, scores improves. And from this point on your game will be a minimum of 5-10 strokes better off.
Practice your chipping on our free practice green
There’s no excuse for you to be sacrificing strokes on the course because of poor chipping. If you’re looking to master your short game, our dedicated chipping green is sure to help you take strokes off your handicap.
The chipping green sits behind the Pro Shop near the North Course first tee.
