Putting Green
Practice your short game on our free putting greens
Putting is often overlooked by weekend golfers… but always respected by low handicappers. Why?
Because the the best golfers know what the hacks don’t, that putting is one of the most important parts of golf. Remember: A 250m drive counts for the same amount of strokes as a 1m putt.
Think about how much better you would play if you turned those frustrating 3-putts into tap-in pars. Imagine if you could finally stop worrying about missing those short putts…
For many golfers, putting is the most difficult part of the game. Because it's the shortest, it look like it should be the easiest, but it's definitely not. Thankfully, you don't have to risk a bad putt out on the 18, just to get in some practice.
North Adelaide Golf Course has two free to play Putting Greens
- Putting Green by the Pro Shop
- Putting Green by Par 3
Our state-of-the-art putting greens are both dense and durable, helping you achieve the perfect shot every time.
The green offers well-spaced pins for variable distances – so you can go from practicing your half metres sinks to lining up 5m putts, all on the same green.
Why use the putting green
The more you practice and learn how to putt consistently, the more you’ll see the ball fall into the hole. This will not only work on your rhythm and confidence, but also give you practice putting in pressure situations.
You’ll be amazed at how quickly your golf game will improve out on the course. You’ll also be able to pinpoint your mistakes, and quickly correct to sink your next putt.
Join us today. Both are free to use and open whenever we are open.
