Join the 2025 North Adelaide Vardon

Back for another year, Vardon returns to the fairways of the North Adelaide Golf Course. The Vardon is an open competition with an 18 Hole Stroke Play. 

Sunday the 7th of September will see South Australia's elite amateur golfers battle it out to earn order of merit points depending on their placement, with an overall winner announced at the Golf South Australia Awards Night.

All course season pass and multi-ticket members will be eligible to WIN a voucher.

Junior Participants will be ineligible to win the Adult Category.

Entries close: Wednesday, 3rd September 2025 at 5:00pm. If accepted, late entry requests will incur additional fees.

Draw will be made available online and emailed by 5:00 pm, Friday 5th September 2025.

  1. Open to Men, Women, Boys & Girls who hold a current Golf Australia Handicap of 29 or under.
  2. The rules covering the event will be the Rules of Golf, the rules of Amateur Status and the Equipment Rules of the R&A and USGA, along with local rules.
  3. The event will be conducted and controlled by the Match Committee of the North Adelaide Golf Course.
  4. Golf Australia policies with respect to Anti-Doping, Match Fixing and Code of Conduct apply.
  5. North Adelaide Vardon event is open to all competitors, with Junior entrants eligible for Men and Women prizes.
  6. Juniors must be under 18 years of age on the day of the event.
  7. City of Adelaide Cup is open to Course Season Pass, Multi Ticket Members only (Inc NAGClub).
  8. Entrance fee must be paid at time of booking. Late entries if accepted may incur additional fees.
  9. Cancellations must be received prior to entries closing to ensure a refund is made.
  10. Field size will be capped at 120 Players. In the event entries exceed this number a handicap ballot will apply, with:
    1. Entrants in other Golf SA Vardon events afforded priority.
    2. Ensuring a balance of entries between male, female, girls, and boys.
  11. All competitors must be on their allocated starting hole prior to 8:00am start time, disqualification for non-compliance in accordance with Rule 5.3a will apply.
  12. In the event of a tie in any of the listed events, this will be decided by a sudden death tie break playing hole 1 followed by hole 2 if not resolved repeat if required.
  13. Each group must maintain pace of play and their position on the course with respect to the group in front. Ready golf is encouraged.
  14. Motorised conveyances are not permitted unless a medical certificate allowing cart use is lodged with GA and evidence provided to the North Adelaide Golf Course Match Committee at registration on the day.
  15. Vardon Prizes awarded to Men’s, Women’s, Boys and Girls Gross and Net Winners. City of Adelaide Cup winner will receive 1 x voucher Additional Prizes dependent on number of entrants.
